What is a career vault?

A career vault is a permanent, private record of what you actually accomplished at work. Instead of rewriting your history from memory for every application, you record each achievement once. Achievd scores it for strength and impact, and every resume, cover letter or review document is generated from that record.

How is Achievd different from a resume builder?

A resume builder helps you produce one document and forgets it. Achievd keeps the underlying record of your work and generates documents from it, so the second application takes minutes rather than an evening, and the same record also produces performance reviews, promotion cases and interview prep.

Does Achievd invent achievements or metrics?

No. Output is built only from what you recorded about your own work. Achievd will prompt you for a missing number, but it does not fabricate results, employers or metrics.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan is a one-time set of allowances that do not renew: store up to 50 achievements, one resume import, twelve achievement auto-grades and one watermarked resume preview, enough to build a vault and see it scored before paying. No card is required.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Achievd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Achievd website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Achievd is an AI-powered career management platform that enables users to:

Store and organize professional achievements in a Career Vault

Generate AI-tailored resumes for specific job opportunities

Create AI-powered cover letters (paid subscribers only)

Track career growth and analytics

Export career documents in multiple formats

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 16 years of age

You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

You will maintain the accuracy of such information

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

All activities that occur under your account

Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plan Types

Free Plan: a one-time set of allowances that do not renew: store up to 50 achievements, plus 1 resume import, 12 achievement auto-grades, 12 skill-extraction requests, 2 role summaries, 2 job analyses, 2 job-fit checks, 1 professional summary, and 1 watermarked resume preview. Your career archetype is generated once and refreshed as your vault changes. The free plan also includes 5 AI enhancements per calendar month, which do renew. The Daedalus AI assistant is available on the Free Plan within the overall AI allowance described below.

Achievd Plan: unlimited AI-tailored resumes and cover letters, all resume templates and colors, unlimited use of the Daedalus AI assistant, performance reviews, promotion packets, salary negotiation scripts, interview preparation built from your own achievements, and 1:1 meeting preparation — all subject to the fair-use allowance described below. Voice conversation minutes are limited separately.

All AI-powered features are subject to a fair-use allowance, sized so that normal use will not reach it. On the Achievd Plan that allowance is measured over a rolling 30-day window: usage more than 30 days old stops counting toward it, so there is no monthly reset date. Free Plan allowances are one-time and do not renew, with the exception of AI achievement enhancements, which renew each calendar month. We never charge overage fees. To keep the service stable we also apply a platform-wide daily limit on total AI usage; in rare cases AI features may be briefly unavailable.

4.2 Billing and Payment

Achievd Plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, at the price shown on our pricing page and confirmed at checkout before any payment is taken. Annual billing is offered at a discount to the monthly rate. We will not change the price of an active subscription without notifying you in advance.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period

You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods

You will be downgraded to the Free plan at the end of your paid period

Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time. All sales are final. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@achievd.ai within 7 days.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers

5.1 AI Technology Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Achievd uses artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI's language models, to generate resumes, cover letters, and enhance achievements.

AI-Generated Content Limitations:

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or hallucinations

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before use

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs

AI-generated content should not be used without human review and editing

5.2 Your Responsibility

By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge and agree that:

You will carefully review all AI-generated content for accuracy

You will not submit inaccurate or misleading information to potential employers

You are solely responsible for the content you submit in job applications

We are not liable for consequences arising from use of AI-generated content

6. User Content and Data

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, create, or submit to the Service ("User Content"), including achievements, work history, resumes, and documents.

6.2 License Grant

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

Store, process, and display your content to provide the Service

Process your content through AI services to generate resumes and cover letters

Create backups and ensure data redundancy

This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account, except for archival or legal retention requirements.

6.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload or submit content that:

Is false, misleading, or fraudulent

Violates any applicable law or regulation

Infringes intellectual property rights of others

Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code

Contains personal information of third parties without consent

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Interfere with or disrupt the Service

Scrape, crawl, or data mine the Service

Share your account credentials with others

Create multiple accounts to circumvent service limits

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Remove or modify any proprietary notices

Violation of these prohibited uses may result in immediate termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Achievd and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Trademarks

"Achievd," the Achievd logo, and all related names, logos, and service marks are trademarks of Achievd. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service

That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

That AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACHIEVD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

Damages resulting from use of AI-generated content

Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account

Damages from job application outcomes or hiring decisions

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Achievd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms

Your User Content

Your use of AI-generated content in job applications

Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Deleting your account through account settings

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

Violate these Terms

Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

Abuse or misuse the Service

Fail to pay subscription fees

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service ceases immediately

We may delete your account and User Content after 90 days

You remain liable for any outstanding fees

Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@achievd.ai to attempt informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 60 days.

12.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, you agree that disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.

YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS.

12.3 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

Posting the revised Terms with an updated "Last Updated" date

Sending email notification to your registered email address

Displaying a prominent notice in the Service

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Achievd.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
